Count Williard In For A Stroll Through The Field On Way To Another Weber Ave Win
Peeker Walks Through Field for Weber Cup Win Simple game folks. Get some cards or don't get some cards, just play 'em like you have 'em and then head to the cashout window. Peeker643 dodged the normal suckouts and blistering bad beats in order to take down the inaugural Weber Cup event at the Weber Ave facility on Saturday, September 22nd. Peeker hit a straight on the final hand to edge to edge out Bob Lawson Jr. The two players decided to chop the first place prize and play a hand for the hardware. Joe "The Captain" Smolic played solidly all night before hemorraghing chips late to finish 3rd while Steve Movrin, a newcomer to the Weber Avenue scene, collected chips early and often and finished fourth. As usual, a good time was had by all on beautiful night where the garage door remained open. Mimi was a winner in the cash games afterward that, while just 6 handed, still raked enough cash to get Weber Ave even for the night. Look for a schedule on the site soon with set dates for future tournaments. Always improving the setup and environment at Weber Ave.

Weber Avenue Meets the WSOP
Weber Avenue members looking to hit town for the WSOP and Gaming Life Exposition should set aside a few days in July to meet up in Las Vegas. Members will be on their own as far as securing flights and rooms. The dead of summer is typically a less expensive time to travel to Vegas and Lead Pipe and Peeker will keep you informed regarding the best flight and room deals available. So set aside a few days of vacation if you can and join the executive board in Vegas for all the action. You can also look into poker room rates at any of the hotels that offer them. Get the poker rate and split a room between 2-4 people and you're looking at a cheap stay in Vegas.
